So far, this simple reboot which only take a few seconds to perform has fixed the Fenix 3 battery drain issues on the rare occasion that it has become a problem. I’ve also had one or two occasions where the watch has failed to pick up my Garmin ANT+ HRM. Once again a simple reboot has fixed it.
EDIT 2: After 95% it returned into the quicker drain. I will give it one more charging cycle. if that doesn’t help I will return it. EDIT 3: After chatting with the Garmin support I uninstalled the Battery Widget (of course they want to rule that out) and did a hard reset. The first and second days seemed great (5.6% a day without GPS).
Since the last update my fenix 6s pro drains suddenly about 2%/hour! even though I'm using power safe mode with no wifi, no pulse ox, no heart rate, That's crazy and unusable. See screenshot of my battery gauge widget, left side was before the update, and below the % character it shows the behavior after the update:
my goes to around 8 days, for example, 12% for the last 24h ( including 70min run with GPS and 30min strength workout ) Yes, exactly. I really don’t get the complaints about battery drain. It is highly dependent on how you use your watch. 7-8% sounds absolutely reasonable. I get about 8% with 3hours of gps runs a week.
The software version is 22.40, but the problem started some time ago. The battery is draining really fast, 20% per day and more sometimes just using it as a watch, no GPS tracking. I have tried a hard reset, reset to factory, uninstall the watch face, turn off BT, but it is always the same. Is there anyone who managed to get things sorted??
Rolled back to 7.24 and draining disappear. I downloaded this package with 7.35 RC (for your 7x it's this one ), which also includes FW 7.24, and followed the instructions included in the ZIP package (readme.txt in SystemBackdate_724 folder). Battery drained from Sunday midday till early Tuesday morning around 65%.
YzLbTRT. Solar Charging. 21sthebest over 1 year ago. So I’m seeing plenty of Solar intensity on the widget but the battery percentage is not increasing. Any suggestions? Thanks so much. A dedicated community for Garmin users to ask questions, provide answers, and share feedback.
Fenix 5 with 13.40 update high battery drain. Yadershik over 4 years ago. Yesterday I received the update 13.40 for my fenix 5 wifi (with sapphire glass). And the battery was discharged by 10% within 12 hours (no GPS usage today). The same problem existed before, but the firmware 12.30 fixed it. And the battery drain was OK about 7-10% within
My 2.5 year old Vivoactive 3 is usually great with battery life, lasting several days even with activities being recorded. Usual battery life is around 10% drain per day without activities. Several times in the last year or so I've experienced a sudden battery drain which has always been fixed by restoring factory settings.
That sounds like quite fast drainage. Do you have Pulse OX enabled? Wifi? Listen to music? FWIW, my previous charge cycle was around 11 days (97 -> 2% battery), on which I did around 19 hours of GPS activity recordings. Mostly in either hilly forests or city environment, with heavy map usage utilizing courses (=extra battery drain).
Fenix 5 Battery Drain - 19.10. Guess this is kind of a recurring theme here, but my trusty Fenix looses the charge like nothing. I loose about 20-40% per night, and quite frankly im baffled as to why. I Disabled the background light entirely on button presses, and the light is at 5% when i press the light button.
Battery Drain so fast. I`ve updated the software version to 9.33. Since that moment the battery last no more than 24 hours with no workout or activity running during that 24 hours. The only thing working right now is to change the battery mode to Battery Saver and manually activate only heart rate, pulse Oximeter.
